The U.S. State Department, in its country report on terrorism for 2014, accuses Iran of an aggressive behavior in support of the Assad regime and against U.S. interests.
Here are the opening paragraphs from a New York Times article entitled, “Iran Still Aids Terrorism and Bolsters Syria’s President, State Department Finds” that best describe how the U.S. State Department report on terrorism views Iran:
Iran continued its “terrorist-related” activity last year and also continued to provide broad military support to
President Bashar al-Assad of Syria, the State Department said Friday in its annual report on terrorism.
The assessment suggests that neither the election of President Hassan Rouhani nor the prospect of a nuclear accord with the United States and its negotiating partners has had a moderating effect on Iran’s foreign policy in the Middle East.
“In 2014, Iran continued to provide arms, financing, training and the facilitation of primarily Iraq Shia and Afghan fighters to support the Assad regime’s brutal crackdown,” the report said.
So, why is the U.S. State Department negotiating the release of some $150 billion to Iran after our diplomats secure a deal no one believes Iran is going to honor? We have a U.S. State Department strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde on our hand.
On one side, Iran is damned, and at the other side, it is rewarded in spite of the damnation.
If there is a Department that needs real overhaul (Other than the IRS), we believe the U.S. State Department qualifies for deep and immediate reforms. The U.S. State Department strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is too painful to be amusing.
With help from many heads at the U.S. State Department strange case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Barack Obama is also pushing to reward Iranian terror.
It matters little what some diplomats at State think or write, our President is intent on drowning Iranian terror with cash. Lots of cash to cause more damage, induce more terror, and generate more destruction in the region.
This is how much the man we voted into office loves America by making her enemies stronger and more lethal.
