In an effort to show it is doing something, the United Nations has publicized its efforts to prosecute those who committed crimes against humanity in Syria by propagandizing the expansion of a secret list of those criminals.

Why so secret if the aim is to publicize crimes? Would it not be more helpful to sow discord in the Assad regime if it made that list public? Or maybe stop those on those secretive list from possibly committing more crimes?

Who comes up with these infantile ideas at the UN?

Could you the UN start prosecuting Bachir of Sudan before it tries to convince Syrians it will prosecute Assad?

Under the Obama administration, no one will be prosecuted or persecuted. Obama‘s red lines were clear, they only cover WMD but not the civilian population dying from horrific genocidal criminals.
